Cortney Rouse, L.M.T.

If Cortney Rouse has a tag line in her massage practice it would have to be you'll feel better later. Through integrative deep-tissue therapy, trigger-point therapy and neuromuscular rehabilitation and re-education, Cortney is able to effectively locate the root cause of pain, weakness and/or injury in the body and facilitate healing. She subscribes to the 'no pain, no gain' philosophy, but her touch is sensitive to her clients' varying degrees of tolerance. She uses her intuition and knowledge of the body as a whole to work with her clients through difficult releases, both emotional and physical. As a practicing massage therapist since 2003, Cortney has plenty of experience adjusting to the needs of individual clients so as to reach an ideal state of healing for each individual with whom she works. Through intuitive bodywork she can also pin point emotional and spiritual strongholds in the body as a tool for self-knowledge and self-healing.

In addition to her work through massage therapy, Cortney is also an animal communicator and has been working with domesticated animals since 1997. Her highly individualized process of telepathic communication and energy work, as well as her extensive knowledge in animal behavior and nutrition, makes her a valuable asset in learning about our four-legged friends and what they have to teach us. Cortney is available to do energy readings for humans as well!

Cortney's rates and availability are as follows:
Sliding scale $50-$70/hr for massage
$35-$65 per session of animal communication
$65/hr & ½ for an energy session
Cortney is available on Thursdays at Ahahra
